For reference, here are the specs of the Spartan Hilux N70 turbo upgrade STS46-30110: Boost rating 16–30 PSI, oil and water-cooled, Spartan custom bearing set, 46MM 6+6 billet compressor wheel, 9-blade hi-flow turbine, and the actuator uses your original unit. This turbo is designed to deliver high-flow performance, improved spool, and reliable power gains for Toyota Hilux N70 1KD engines.
⚡ Dyno Results After Hilux N70 Turbo Upgrade
Starting with a baseline pull in factory form, our Hilux produced 104 kW & 320 Nm at the hubs. Before fitting the Hilux N70 turbo upgrade, we completed service work including engine oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, inlet manifold clean, air mass meter clean, AG Diesel +30 injectors, a DEA 3-inch turbo-back exhaust, Demon Pro Parts front-mount intercooler with intake pipe, exhaust manifold gaskets, and finally, the STS46-30110 turbo.
After tuning on the dyno, the results were staggering: 201 kW & 836 Nm, achieving a steady 32 PSI while maintaining a safe 18:1 AFR. Note: this test vehicle is automatic; some automatic Hilux models may require a valve body upgrade for optimal performance.
